ASM Golf - Corporate & Charity Golf Day Services overview

1.) Lead Up Period
• Assist the client with sourcing of additional co sponsors & prizes for the their event wherever possible in consultation with the client;
• Assist the client with the design and ordering of suitable & quality signage;
• Assist the client with the selection of a suitable Emcee / Compare;
• Assist the client with various trophy ideas / purchases;
• Assist the client with the selection of tournament apparel and gift bag items if required;
• Assist the client with the collection, packing and or transportation of gift bags & or prizes to the golf course / venue;
• Assist the client with sending out invitations if required;
• Market the event to the AST / ASM golf & corporate data base if required;
• Assist the client in the preparation of all tournament rules & player information;
• Assist the client in the selection of various menus and ensure all F & B requirements are in place prior to the event;
• Assist the client in arranging additional manpower if required;
• Assist the client in training of these people for the event;
• Create an online tournament page if required;
• Some Examples: 1. Public access Singapore Police Retiree's Annual Golf Tournament & 2. Private access only Standard Chartered Asian Senior Masters Pro-Am
• Assist the client in preparing the final
timesheet for the event;
• Assist the client with any golf coaching and or proficiency certificates / golf handicaps of any of the participants if required;
• Update format of play rules;
• In conjunction with the venue prepare scorecards with relevant labels;
• Meet the client at the venue for an on-course show around and to confirm areas for directional signage and the ideal bag drop / registration area;
• Create exclusive client golf bag tags if required;
• Assist with the production of a quality souvenir programme if required;

1.2) Actual Day of Event
• Assist the client in the actual running of the event on the day including and not limited to the following items;
• Assist the client in the set up of a Registration Table(s);
• Assist the client with the display and distribution of Gift bags whether at the registration desk or in the designated lockers;
• To ensure any Hole in One vehicle(s) and signage is in place;
• To ensure reserved parking available for VIP’s;
• To ensure all players golf bags are correctly tagged and placed on the correct buggies;
• To ensure all buggies are positioned in the correct staging area;
• To ensure range balls are available for those wishing to practice;
• To ensure all signage is displayed in the correct position and at the correct holes;
• To set up flags at the designated Novelty holes;
• To ensure manpower is positioned at the novelty holes if required;
• To ensure all manpower is positioned at correct locations / stations;
• To ensure proper communication system is in place on the day of event;
• To ensure all carts and or on-course locations have sufficient beverage;
• ASM Director of Golf, Matthew A. Murray, an R & A Referee, to act as Tournament Director;
• ASM to conduct players briefing on tournament rules etc prior to tee off;
• ASM to call players to their designated tee box from Veranda with PA if required;
• To assist with any additional activities such as golf clinics, digital swing analysis etc > examples
Standard Chartered Golf Day & the EMC Golf Day
• Ensure that all Players proceed to correct tee box and on time;
• To ensure the official Photographer(s) is in the right position;
• ASM to take digital images of the day for future reference and backup;
• To ensure that all Food and Beverage requirements on the day are met;
• ASM Tournament Director will act as Tournament Referee in the event of any questions or rulings / disputes;
• To assist the venue Golf Marshals with the pace of play;
• To assist the venue in ensuring all players are off the course in the event of inclement whether – Suggest an SMS service to the players as well;
• To ensure all scorecards are returned and signed correctly;
• Assist the venue with the compilation of the results;
• Assist in setting up the presentation table;
• To act as emcee if required;
• To prepare name cards for all guests if required;
• To ensure all VIP tables have place cards if required;
• Assist in conducting the Prize presentation;
• To assist in ensuring all guests are taken care of;
• To ensure all golf bags and belongings are removed or stored safely after event;
• To assist in taking photos if required;
• To ensure all excess prizes / trophies and gift bags are removed from the venue and returned to their correct owners / the client.

1.3 Following the Event
• Ensure all signage is removed from the venue;
• Ensure all unused gift bags / unclaimed prizes are returned to the client;
• Forward any information / photos to golf magazines / press etc if required;
• To provide a detailed report on the event;
• To provide a copy of all digital photos to the client;
• To attend a post-mortem meeting on the event;
• To ensure all contractors and suppliers have been reimbursed;
• Create a tournament results page if required;
