LOCAL professional Elliott Booth has taken out the $20,000 Doric Engineering Tasmanian Senior Open after shooting back to back rounds of 68 at the Davenport Golf Club. Booth’s total of 136 was two shots better than John Clifford, while Ian Brander was one shot further back in third position. Terry Gale was fourth on a one-over par total. Booth collected $3,456 for the win. He also walked away with the circuit prize for the Tasmanian Senior Pro-Am Series supported by Niagra Therapy.
