Thingon emerged as the Champion at the 7th Thai Bauer ASM @ Thailand 2017 after a most exciting 3 man 4 hole play off involving fellow countryman Manes Saengsui (Thailand) and Glenn Joyner (Australia) and Thingon as the AST's OOM 2016 leader will go on to represent the Thailand (he is only the 2nd Thai National to ever play in the USA on the Champions Tour) and the Asian Seniors Tour in the USA playing on the Champions Tour at the 2017 Insperity Invitational staged at The Woodland CC from Mon 1 to Sun 7 May offering over a US$ 2 million dollar purse
