The Booth Trophy has been won by New Zealander Craig Owen with impressive rounds of 68 and 67 around the challenging par 70 Devonport Golf Club. Owen had been struggling with form leading into the tournament. Owen said " I've been playing with some graphite shafts and hitting it all over the place. Dennis got me some new clubs within a few days and I havn't hit a bad ball since". This was evident in his near perfect rounds.
It was a Kiwi Quinella with fellow New Zealander and first round leader Arthur Parkin taking second place folling up his 65 of yesterday with a 71 today. Clear on third was Randal Vines who consolidated a great tour of Tasmania.
