Since the Asian Senior Tour's foundation in November 2003 the AST's membership has grown from strength to strength from the original 70 senior professionals who kindly supported and participated in the inaugural 2003 Asian Senior Masters @ Singapore which heralded the birth of the AST

Currently the AST's senior professional golfer membership now includes representatives from over 20 countries and over 390 senior professional golfers from around the world have now participated in an Asian Seniors Tour sanctioned Asian Senior Masters professional tournament with their numbers continuing to grow.

The Asian Seniors PGA Tour was founded at the recent US$ 100,000 purse ASM @ Malaysia 2009 presented by the Oxley Capital Group
