Invitation to participate in the 2007 Asian Senior Masters
@ Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur to be staged at the
Palm Garden Golf Club – 7th – 9th September 2007

The Asian Seniors Tour - AST is pleased to announce that thanks to the kind and generous on going support from AIG S.E.A. AIA and Giant the main sponsors of the ASM @ Malaysia, now in its 5th year will once again be staged at Palm Garden Golf Club from the 7th – 9th Sept 2007

ASM tournaments are preceded by up to 6 Pro-Ams which will be staged from Tues 4th - Thurs 6th Sept 07 during which avid golfers like yourselves can entertain and interact with your valued clients, customers and friends. Pro-Ams flights are 4 balls comprising 1 AST senior professional as Captain and 3 VIP amateur golfers, and a maximum of 128 participants in 32 flights are fielded per Pro-Am.

ASM tournaments unlike regular tour events are about participation, involving over 800 amateur golfers, from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Asian region.

Each ASM Pro-Am tournament, catering to 96 amateur participants and involving 32 of the AST’s senior professional golfers is an event in itself, with goodie bags, individual & team prizes, novelty holes, and includes a post game meal and prizes giving function, etc.

For the serious amateur golfers and low markers, the top 9 best gross scoring participants from each of the ASM Pro-Ams along with sponsor's exemptions, who's entries MUST have a handicap of 12 or less will secure places in the 2007 ASM @ Malaysia Amateur Semi Finals to be staged on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 September 2007 which will be played in a 4 ball format comprising 3 AST Senior Professionals and 1 amateur golfer.

UP to 80 amateur golfers will contest the ASM @ Malaysia Amateur Semi Finals held in conjunction with the first 2 days of the 2007 ASM professional event allowing the amateur golfers the opportunity to compete head to head with participating Senior Professional golfers under tournament conditions.

The top 3 best gross scoring amateur participants each day from the Amateur Semi Finals will contest the ASM @ Malaysia Amateur Finals to be staged on Sunday the 9th Sept 2007. T-ing Off prior to the ASM @ Malaysia - Palm Garden – KL final day.

As was the case at the 2006 ASM @ Malaysia when Australian Stewart Ginn defeated Thailand’s Amphon Maneerat all ties in the Amateur Semi-Finals, Amateur Final, and the ASM @ Malaysia Professional Tournament will be decided by a sudden death play off.

ASM @ Malaysia Pro-Am tournaments will again feature winning amateur golfers from the various local Charity Tournaments, Social & Golf Club champions, and Club & Corporate 3 man team entries competing alongside individual golfers for places in the ASM @ Malaysia Amateur Semi Finals
