We do hope that some of you will be able to play / enter a 3 person team in the Pro-Am on Sat 30th September during the CIES - 2nd ASEAN Senior Open (Thailand) 2017 presented by Thai Bauer – from Sat 30th Sept to Tue 3 Oct to be staged at Emerald GCC.
The top 9 best gross scoring amateur golfers from the Pro-Ams along with sponsor's exemptions secure places to play FOC / at no charge in the Amateur Finals on Sun 1 Oct which is staged in conjunction and during the 1st day of the ASM professional tournament.

Congratulations Thingon Jansomboon (Thailand) who in May 2017 made Thai golfing history as the 1st Thai senior professional golfer since Boonchu Ruangkit to ever play in the USA on the Champions Tour when he represented the Asian Seniors Tour against most of the world's leading senior professional golfers such as Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, Jeff Maggert, John Daly, Fred Couples and Miguel Angel Jimenez to name but a few, at the US$ 2.1 million purse Insperity Invitational 2017 presented by United Healthcare staged at the Woodlands CC in Houston, Texas, where he returned a 3 day 54 hole total score of 227 at 11 over, to come in tied for 70th place.
In previous years the AST was represented by;
2014 - Ahmad Bateman (Brunei) who returned 222 at 6 over par to place tied 48th
2015 - Murugiah (Singapore) who returned 234 at 18 over par to place tied 72nd
2016 - Gunasagaran (Malaysia) who returned 222 at 6 over par to place tied 48th
Since 2014 the Asian Senior Tour's leading senior professional golfer has been invited to take part in the annual US$ 2 million + purse Insperity Invitational presented by UnitedHealthcare staged at
The Woodlands Country Club in Houston, representing the AST, playing in a US Champions Tour event.
