Asian Seniors Tour Tournament Director Matthew Murray recently visited the US PGA Tour headquarters in Jacksonville and attended the 3rd round of the US$8 million PLAYERS Championship at the magnificent TPC at Sawgrass Stadium Course .
During Matthew's visit he met up with Mr Jeffrey Monday, Senior Vice President of Tournament Development for the PGA Tour to discuss the future of seniors professional golf in Asia.
Matthew also had the pleasure of dining in the PGA Tour Commissioners Lounge overlooking the 18th green with Mr Kyi Hla Han, Chairman of the Asian Tour, Mr Ramlan Harun, Executive Director of the Asian PGA Tour and caught up with Mr Andrew Georgiou, CEO of the PGA Tour of Australasia, Mr Doug Billman, Managing Director of the Euoprean Tour Americas and Mr Patrick Rielly, former President PGA of America, firmly communicating the Asian Seniors Tour and Excel Golf's commitment to the development of senior professional golf in Asia.
In such magnificent surroundings, it was wonderful to observe the best players in the world handling the difficult TPC course.
