Ron was previously a professional soccer player in the UK playing for Luton and West Bromich during the in 1970’s and then moved on to Australia where he continued playing professional soccer.
Ron took up golf at the age of 31 and turned professional in Jan 2008 coming in Third at the Australian Senior Tour Qualifying School, and since then Ron has been a regular on both the Australian and Asian Seniors Tour.
Ron owns and runs Universal Golf Brands who manufacture and distribute electric golf buggies under the Motocaddy and Powakaddy brand names.
Ron finally broke through to claim his first victory at the 2008 ASM @ Singapore (Batam) where he emerged Champion, beating his mentor and long time friend Ross Metherell who came in joint Third.
We look forward to his participation this July at the 2009 ASM @ Malaysia presented by the Oxley Capital Group.
